Swinging into District Play

Prosper Baseball swung off into the beginning of district 14-5A play last night, March 12, against the Little Elm Lobos. The Eagles won their district opener, beating the Lobos 5-2. Luke Johnson hammered out a 3-run homer during the 5th inning to take the Eagles ahead. Pitcher Taylor Pendley is recorded with the win and Jack Werran goes down as the closer.

The boys have trained throughout pre-season and competed in nearly a dozen tournaments against local and distant teams. This game set out the scene for their upcoming season and also recorded some stellar plays including a few home runs. The boys will compete next on Friday March 16 at 7:00pm against Little Elm, this time on Little Elm turf.
