The Eagle Softball team matched up against Carrollton RL Turner on Tuesday, March 12. The Lady Eagles showed no mercy, shutting down the Lions 10-0 in six innings. Prosper finished the game with a whopping 13 hits, 4 of which came from senior Avery Colclaser. Freshman Pitcher Abbey Beasley was not only awarded the win at the mound, but her bat was hot too…she went 2-3 at the plate and earned 2 RBIs. Senior Bailey Zornes earned the most RBIs for the night with 3 and went 2-4 at bat.
Prosper, 3-0 in district play, will meet the McKinney North Bulldogs (2-1) tonight at 7:00pm, at McKinney North. Prosper goes into the game with confidence, not allowing any hits in the last 11 innings. It’s a beautiful evening for softball…let’s all go out and support our Lady Eagles Softball team!!
