The mission of Prosper ISD is to develop motivated, academically prepared individuals with the strength of character to make contributions to a rapidly changing society through an educational system that maintains high expectations, provides quality instruction, and establishes a safe orderly, learning environment. This has never been more important than right now.

During these uncertain times, we know that it is important for our staff, students, and families to have as many answers as possible regarding what the upcoming school year will look like. Answers to those questions are important for the educational and social-emotional health of all of our staff and students. While the guidelines we have been given from state and national government tend to change from week to week with the changes in the current situation, we wanted to provide you with as detailed a plan as we can provide for how Prosper ISD will continue to provide quality instruction and a safe, orderly learning environment for the start of the 2020-2021 school year. This information is subject to change as directives from governing authorities, health officials, or environmental conditions may so determine.

Parents will be given a choice for either remote learning or in-person learning. Tomorrow you will receive an email that provides a link to a commitment form to register your choice. This form will go live at 4:00pm on Friday, July 10th and will need to be completed by Friday, July 17th. Returning Prosper ISD students will receive this form through their existing Skyward account and our new students who are not yet in our Skyward system will receive an email with a link to a google form.
