Town of Prosper General Election to be held on May 5
The Town of Prosper will hold a general election on May 5, 2018 for the purpose of electing individuals to fill the positions of Town Council member, Place 2 and Place 6. Information and forms were available in the Town Secretary’s office as of January 8, 2018. The first day to file for a place on the ballot was January 17th and the last day to file will be on February 16, 2018. Individuals eligible to pull a packet must reside within the town limits.
Place 2 is currently held by Kenneth Dugger, who has been on Town Council since 2007. Dugger will be vacating his seat. Place 6 is held by Jason Dixon, who serves as Deputy Mayor Pro-Tem. Dixon was on the Planning and Zoning Commission from 2006-2010 before being elected to Town Council.
