Prosper Lady Eagles volleyball swept longtime rival, Lovejoy, 3-0 today to win Region II 5A and in doing so, earned a berth to the State Tournament.
The Lady Eagles fell behind Lovejoy a few times but dug deep and battled back to take the match in three heart-racing sets!
Prosper will enter the tournament with a 44-6 overall record, and will face either Tuloso-Midway on Friday at 3pm at the Garland Event Center.
