Prosper’s Pride in the Sky 2020 – Presented by Children’s Health

Prosper is our home and we love this community. It was our passion for Prosper and our country that drove us to create Prosper’s Pride in the Sky in 2014. Over the years it has grown from a small fireworks show to one of the top Independence Day Celebrations in North Texas – none of which would be possible without our amazing sponsors and partners.
We have seen our community stand together (while allowing for 6′ social distancing) over the last few months and we could not be more proud. We were optimistic that we would be able to celebrate our nation’s independence and our freedoms amid the chaos that COVID has caused. However, with the recent substantial spike in active cases in both Prosper and our region, as well as the information that we received from the Texas Health & Human Services this afternoon, we have made the difficult decision to proceed with a FIREWORKS SHOW ONLY event on July 3rd.
Our top priority will always be the health and safety of our residents. And while we are disappointed that this year’s event will look different than last year, we are happy to still be able to provide an amazing Fireworks Show for our town. Please feel free to watch from your vehicles and homes – and we’ll be streaming it LIVE on this Facebook page. We look forward to a HUGE BLOWOUT event in 2021 as we bring back the Kid Zones, Water Slides, Live Music, Car Show, Softball game and more!!

To watch this year’s Pride in the Sky Firework Show, please park at Frontier Park, Children’s Health Stadium at Prosper ISD or at Prosper High School!
Frontier Park WILL BE OPEN, so feel free to bring chairs or blankets and sit in the grass at the park. Or, you can also bring chairs and tailgate in the surrounding parking lots.
