300-acre Development North of Highway 380 to Feature a New Elementary and Middle School
Risland U.S. Holdings announced on August 31, 2020 that it has reached an agreement with Prosper Independent School District (Prosper ISD) for a new elementary school and middle school within its Legacy Gardens development. Located just west of the Dallas North Tollway and north of Highway 380, Legacy Gardens is a 300-acre single-family community located on Prosper Trail with homes designed by leading luxury builders such as Risland Homes and Drees Homes.

As Legacy Gardens continues to develop, it is anticipated that the priority will be the middle school, which will be conveniently located off of Legacy Drive. The elementary school will be located off Shawnee Trail, just north of Legacy Gardens’ first phase of development. The central location of the campuses will allow students to walk to and from school without having to cross any major roads or busy corridors.
