Prosper Life International

November 6th was an exciting and informative morning at Fuse Dynamic Workspace here in Prosper. You’ve probably heard by now about a cool group of Prosper kiddos that started a little organization to build a school in Ghana…well they’re doing it and the idea and vision is anything BUT little.

Kids Prosper Kids (KPK) is a not-for-profit group of doers…founded, led and managed by a compassionate group of students in Prosper, Texas. KPK originated from the passion of these students to make lasting change for a group of trafficked children in Ghana, West Africa. Since they began in 2017, KPK has grown into an organization with over 100 student members learning to live a life of leadership and service and changing things for GOOD for communities all around the world! As a unique, student-driven 501(c)3, supported by a group of like-minded, passionate adults, KPK is fueling a movement of inclusion, generosity, and compassion for others throughout our local communities, nationally and globally.

Guest Speaker and Lead Designer for the school is Kim Lewis out of Austin, Texas. She spoke to the Prosper Chamber of Commerce members about the Kids Prosper Kids group and their plans and blueprints for Prosper Life International, a school to teach art, trades and skills to the many children in Ghana, Africa, that otherwise have little hope of a prosperous future, providing hope and a chance to further themselves in a way that they may not otherwise have.

Kim was lead Designer for ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover: Home Edition’, Celebrity Home Designer, and is the Founder of Kim Lewis Designs. She has been featured on HGTV, TLC, National Geographic, Spike TV, and FYI’s “Tiny House Nation.” Kim’s passion is building therapeutic art centers for rescued children in Ghana, Cambodia, Thailand and Honduras.

Kimberli Brackett, the Co-Founder and Director of Student/Community Relations for Kids Prosper Kids, alongside CEO Kevin Dickerson and his wife Angie, Co-founder and Executive Director, have partnered with Prosper and former Ghana residents Newlove and Mydeem Dogbey, all of who are raising children here in Prosper. Their vision is to send forth their children into the world to make a difference and give hope to other, less fortunate children across the globe.

That’s right, Kids Prosper Kids is making an impact here locally so that they can also make all the difference in the world globally as well. Stay tuned for more information and updates on Prosper Life International and the kids behind the big idea Kids Prosper Kids because once kids know they can make a difference in the world, they go out and do it!!
